Rah-e-Zindagi Basic Life Support (RZBLS) is Ebtekar Rah Roshan’s flagship Basic Life Support initiative, committed to equipping individuals with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Through hands-on, evidence-based training, RZBLS empowers students, healthcare professionals, educators, organizations, and communities with essential lifesaving skills while fostering a culture of preparedness across Pakistan.

Our long-term vision is to ensure that lifesaving knowledge is accessible to all, so that no life is lost due to the absence of immediate help. This mission has been made possible through the generous support of Naveed Shamsi and Sajid Habib Charolia, whose donation of training manikins has strengthened healthcare education and enhanced the quality of practical learning within the RZBLS program.

Train-the-Trainer Model

The Rah-e-Zindagi Basic Life Support (RZBLS) Train-the-Trainer Model is a structured instructor development pathway designed to build a sustainable network of certified Basic Life Support educators across Pakistan. Rather than training individuals alone, the program equips participants to become instructors who can confidently train others, creating a continuous cycle of life-saving education.

Through two progressive levels, Level Uno and Level Dos, participants advance from certified trainees to certified instructors, ensuring that every workshop is delivered with consistency, quality, and evidence-based practice. This cascading approach creates a sustainable model in which trained instructors continue expanding access to life-saving education within their communities.

Training Pathway

1Level Uno

Level Uno is the foundation of the RZBLS pathway. Participants gain essential Basic Life Support knowledge through interactive learning, hands-on skill stations, demonstrations, and scenario-based simulations. Successful completion of the written, practical, and scenario-based assessments certifies participants as RZBLS trainees and qualifies them to progress toward instructor training.

2Level Dos

Level Dos prepares certified RZBLS trainees to become instructors. Participants develop teaching, demonstration, and assessment skills while delivering workshops under the supervision of experienced RZBLS instructors. Successful completion of the required evaluations certifies participants as RZBLS instructors, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality, evidence-based Basic Life Support education while upholding the program’s educational standards.

Educational Workshops

Our Educational Workshops are designed to deliver practical first-response education to diverse communities, including schools, educational institutions, and underserved populations through community outreach and camps. Each workshop follows a customized curriculum developed to meet the needs, age group, and setting of the participants. Through interactive and hands-on learning, participants develop the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Corporate Workshops

Our Corporate Workshops are tailored to help organizations build a safer and more prepared workplace by equipping employees with essential emergency response skills. Each program is customized to address the unique needs and potential risks of the organization, ensuring relevant and practical training.
